As a volunteer for the UBC United Way Campaign, you will play a key role in our community’s fundraising efforts. You will join a group of over 5,000 volunteers who are building a stronger, healthier community together to improve the quality of lives of people in the Lower Mainland.

Your commitment to become involved with the UBC Campaign is the reason United Way and member agencies can continue to provide services to 1 in 3 people in the Lower Mainland.

This position will allow you to increase your network both within your department as well as with the broader UBC community. Your responsibilities will be focused around awareness and campaigning for your respective department.

Your Responsibilities

As the volunteer for your work site your responsibilities will include:

  • attending the orientation sessions and volunteer training
  • coordinating a departmental campaign within your unit
  • committing approximately 35 hours of your time from September 4 to December 3
